In late February the Charity Committee selected the SDPHC charities for 2008. These recommendations were approved by the general membership on March 12, 2008. The first and second places selections were so close that it was decided that they would share the money raised at the Anniversary Party. These Charities are San Diego Adaptive Sports and the San Diego Rescue Mission. The third place charity, Angel Faces, will receive monies raised at the Pub Crawl. The fourth place charity was the YMCA transitional home for teenagers. They will benefit from an event to be decided later.
