All Day Music Fest While Raising $ for Charity
Saturday September 26th Campland On the Bay 11 hours of non-stop music from all our favorite Trop Rock musicians, Beer and Wine Margarita Garden, Silent Auction, Opportunity drawing and more!!! Plus a great Parakeet friendly location on the beach in Mission Bay all for low cost price of $25. This party is NOT TO BE MISSED!!
Armbands are for sale for $25.00. Admission includes donation to charity, music, beer, wine, soda and water. Food will be available from Campland. Children 12 and under are free. The money from wristband sales covers all operating expenses of the party, beverages, musician, sound system, etc. All monies beyond that go directly to our charities.
Beer Garden: There is a beer garden that people can access for FREE with a wristband. We'll be serving beer, wine, margaritas, soda, and water - all included. You easily can watch the performers from the beer garden. You must have a wristband to enter the garden. And you must be at least 21. Bring ID. We check. Adults with wristbands must pick up all beverages.
NO Armbands can be sold on Campland property on the day of the event 9/26 due to alcohol regulations. Armbands will be for sale on Thurs 9/24 and Fri 9/25 at Campland. You can find us around the grounds surrounding space J-14. You also may purchase your armbands at Captains Cove is Seaport Village Store hours are 10am to 9:00pm daily. Campland will charge anywhere from $5.00 per person to $10.00 per car IF YOU ARE NOT WEARING AN ARMBAND WHEN YOU ENTER ON SAT. The only place to purchase armbands the day of the event will be Captain's Cove in Seaport Village. 851 West Harbor Dr, San Diego, 92101.

This Years Party will Benefit two 501 3 (C) Charities. San Diego Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - helping local families who have children with diabetes, and the Community Coaching Center, helping Autistic and other disabled children adapt to society. All money raised stays within the San Diego community. Last year we raised $25,000 for our charities in just one day. Let's break that record!
We also raise money through a silent auction and opportunity drawing (raffle). 100% of this money goes to our charities.
Also, Jerry Gontang & Stars on the Water will play a free show on Friday night at Campland from 8-10. It's BYOB. No wristband is required. Campland is sponsoring the event.

I also have a huge check that we must write to Campland due soon, so if you are camping, I need a confirmation by Friday, July 31st, and your payment by Monday, August 10th. If I do not hear from you, I will assign your space to the new campers that have paid. This is a large puzzle to work out and I really need your help by responding to me to let me know your intentions.

Due Period Ends Aug 31, 2009 - Please Renew Now The current dues period ends August 31, 2009. If you renew now, you will save the club A LOT of time and postage. The Anniversary Patty is September 26. Anyone that is camping through the club will need to renew when you reserve your campsite. If you have already sent in your camping, either mail in a renewal or renew when you check in a Campland. If you do not renew, you will be charged the additional $20 non member camping fee. Tuesday June 30 - Boxing Food at the SD Food Bank 6pm-8pm
Hi Phlock, It's been a while, but, we're heading back to the San Diego Food Bank to box food for an evening.

Time: 6pm - 8pm
Location: 9850 Distribution Avenue, San Diego, California 92121 (Just off Miramar Rd., not too far from UTC)
Note: Must wear close-toed shoes.

What we'll do - basically, we'll show up. Then we'll work around a manual conveyor belt. Most of us will put cans of food in boxes. A few will tape up the boxes. You don't need to be strong. Just have a positive attitude. It's easy to chat with your friends as you work. The time flies. Info about the food bank is available at www.sandiegofoodbank.org.
After we're done, we'll get some food and drink at a local watering hole. Location is TBD.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me. Feel free to bring friend and family. It's a great way to earn community service hours (especially for students). And you earn a point towards the volunteer appreciation party in 2010. A big thank you to those who already have volunteered at the last biz meeting and via email.

We will have our award winning members only compound with assorted beverages, shade, private porta potties, and music set up on the first weekend. We have registered 5 teams. OTL practices are on Thursdays, at 5:00-ish at Mariners Point. If you are a returning player or interested in learning the game, show up and have a great time. New players: You do need to be a Parrot Head member in current standing to officially play on one of our teams. However, everyone is welcomed to join in the practices. Bring your favorite bat or we have ones to share. Females can use a mitt. No other equipment needed. All ages welcomed, you are never too old! Have questions, give me a call. See you there! All camping reservations need to be made through the Captain's Cove. Due to alcohol regulations, wristbands cannot be sold on Campland property, so they must be purchased in advance. Wristbands can be purchased at any SDPHC event; the Captain's Cove in Seaport Village (store hours 10:00 am. to 9:00 pm); or by mailing a check (up to Sept 15th) made payable to the SDPHC to:
